5.5 yo Ewes straight out of the stud flock at SANDALWOOD POLL. Only about 30 were retained by the stud this year to turn out with a new and exciting ram recently purchased. I saw these ewes being shorn two months ago and they were in store condition after rearing their lambs through a very tough Autumn and a winter that didn't rain until July. Their ability to rapidly gain weight and condition without supplementation for joining and the coming summer is a testament to the hardiness and productivity of these ewes, making them a must have for many a Poll Merino or 1st Cross Border Leicester ewe producing flock. The vendors are able to identify via ear mark, the different family lines contained within these ewes should any discerning breeder of Poll Merinos wish to add them to a ram breeding operation. Buyers please note that required steps have been taken to ensure these ewes will maintain the MN3 status through the Lameroo Saleyards.
