A TOP OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A NEAT LOAD OF THE ASTON WETHER LAMBS. THEY ARE FROM A EWE BASE WITH 70% BEING VENDOR BRED ON RICES CREEK & BORUNG BLOODLINES. THE BALANCE FROM CLASSED BREEDERS FROM WALLINAR STUD WA. THESE WETHERS ARE BY BILL WALKER SELECTED RAMS FROM BORUNG & RICES CREEK. THEY HAVE HAD AN OUTSTANDING START TO LIFE & BEEN GIVEN THE RIGHT TREATMENTS, PREPARATIONS & EID TAGS. THEY WERE ALSO WELL CURFEWED PRIOR TO THIS ASSESSMENT BEING DONE. THERE IS A LIGHT AMOUNT OF SPEAR GRASS SEED IN THE WOOL WHICH DOESN’T SEEM TO HAVE PENETRATED THE SKINS & THE VENDOR DID DO SEVERAL LAMBS FOR THE COOLROOM WHICH WERE CLEAN. THE VENDOR WILL DO THEIR BEST TO ENSURE THAT THEY CAN KEEP THEM OUT OF THE GRASS PRIOR TO DELIVERY. NOTE THAT THERE WAS ONE BLACK FACED LAMB & A SMALL AMOUNT THAT MAY HAVE DRY SCABS ON LIPS/NOSE FROM THE BURR. WE DID TRY TO REMOVE MOST OF THOSE WITH THE TAIL LAMBS.
