Buyers, on offer is a small but well bred line of future breeder ewe lambs out of the heart of Arcadia Merino stud. These young ewes are surplus to requirements and on the most part represent the later lambs from drop. Arcadia Merino's are bred to be robust and resilient sheep to perform under everyday paddock conditions by selecting on genetic traits rather than supplementary feed. Arcadia place an emphasis on sound confirmation and strong carcass traits without compromising the soft handling long stapled white wool.
These lambs are plain bodied, clean breeched sheep with the stud continually focussed on working towards bare breeched mulseing free animals.
Nice lambs that have come through a tough Autumn /Winter period that given the correct husbandry should join up to the ram of your choosing in the new year.
