A line of young ewes that with some time should grow out to be good ewes. These ewes are bred from classed Greenfields Poll Merino Blood SA ewes and sired by high grade Greenfields rams. The Chapman sheep are renowned for their big frame scores and big weights in SA when their merino lambs are grown out so these ewes are bred to perform with a bonus of high wool quality. These ewes have had a harder start to life with excessive wet weather and ongoing fly problems. With dryer summer weather finally upon us these ewes are ready to grow out in to productive breeders. *NOTE* given the excessive wet weather 35-40% of this mob have been noted having water stain or treated fly strike on shoulder or body.
