This is the first draft of the lambs offered from Boolarra, that have been shorn for a fortnight. All of these lambs have been individually weighed from 35 kg plus at assessment. These lambs are only August drop. They have been weaned since the mid November and are grain trained to a lick feeder receiving a lamb finisher pellet in the paddock. They have been running on a Summer crop of Rape which has been eaten out and they are going into containment pens on 21.1.2025 on Reid stockfeed pellets in lick feeders with access to pasture hay and straw. These lambs are proven performers off crop or in a feedlot with the vendor regularly finishing them into supermarket specifications. Please note the vendor has another 2 lots in today’s sale totaling 1000 head.
