Buyers, on offer is a well-bred line of 170 August/September drop Dorset X Merino lambs. Lambs have been weaned for 8 weeks and trained to grain, having had access to supplementary feeders in the paddock. Lambs are out of large frame Richmond Blood Merino ewes and sired by Ferndale Poll Dorsets. Lambs present in forward to forward-store condition showing excellent bone, length of body and thickness. Weighed at assessment 40-50.5kg liveweight, with a 10% tail removed for buyer confidence. Offered as part of an annual sale, lambs are proven performers, with repeat buyers consistently praising their growth and finishing ability. An ideal article with the prospective of a quick turnaround with limited hassles. These lambs come with my recommendation coming from of one of the Young districts most fastidious sheep producers. Please note, a small percentage of lambs present with dry dag.
