Assessor Comments
A good line of 190 x Sep/ Oct 2024 Drop Mixed Sex Merino Lambs. Offered for sale as the crops are short. This group of lambs are performing well on grazing wheat and are being fed barley every second day. A 20% tail was removed at assessment. Healthy lambs that will offer buyers an excellent opportunity to finish as lambs, retain as wool growers or select ewe lambs as future breeders. There is a high percentage of ewe lambs that would be suitable to retain as breeders for the future. The lambs are in store to forward condition. All lambs individually weighed between 35kg and 49kg full. Bred from high performance Cottage Park sires selected for high quality wools on plainer skins and large frames. Some lambs present with light dag from crop and a small number of lambs exhibit missing ear points from grazing canola earlier in the season. Selling agent happy to arrange cartage to SELX, Yass on behalf of the buyer.
