Assessor Comments
A nicely presented draft of maternal composite ewe lambs, crutched and presenting in principally forward condition. Lambs are fully up to date with animal health treatments including Campyvax, Gudair & booster 6-in-1 vaccine and have had a 10% tail removed. There are approx 6% of lambs with smokey points which is reflective of the Mount Ronan genetics (refer pic). The Goodwood ewe lambs are sired by high indexing Mount Ronan & Cashmore Oaklea maternal rams and have proven performance on farm and for previous purchasers. Nicely bred ewe lambs, scanned empty, with the breeding and capacity to carry through and join for a 2022 lambing or to finish into winter processing markets.
