216 - Good Quality Vendor bred Border Leicester x Merino Wether lambs. August - September 2023 drop, Wethers present in healthy forward store to fresh condition.
Wethers are bred from large framed medium wool type ewes, sourced from Western & Southern Districts of NSW. Sired by high indexing Dunnield Border Leicester Rams. Post weaning lambs have continued to gain 150 grams per day on improved pastures, lambs have returned the same with the expectation of a continuous weight gain. All lambs were weighed out at assessment ranging from 35kg to 48kg, 15% tail was removed as a result.
10% of Wethers were noted to have horns. Please Note - Vendor has the Ewe portion listed in same sale of similar description - Total of 540 lambs in offering.
Sale of Wethers represents an annual production sale of 1st X lambs. An opportunity to secure a genuine line of quality young Store wether lambs, with an established weight to continue backgrounding for either Domestic or Export markets.
