Assessor Comments
One mark store merino wether yearlings purchased ex the breeder. These lambs are light in fat cover but are healthy in condition and will handle travelling a reasonable distance in good weather. They have been described as being producers of fine wool being smaller-medium frame genetically. These lambs have been bred in the Eugowra district by WJ Dickson. Ravecchia Poll Merino sires have been infused into the flock more recently. These lambs cut an impressive 14.8 micron fleece for their lamb shearing this July. They are realistically reserved at $25/hd and would suit a trade or even a wool growing proposition. They present even as a line and will bound away shown feed.
