242 June & July 2024 drop Composite lambs. Majority of these lambs are Ewe lambs and have been scanned empty, there is a small portion of wether lambs in this mob. In a normal season the vendor would retain these ewe lambs but due to seasonal conditions there are being offered for sale. December shorn, Grain trained (wheat) here presents an excellent opportunity to tuck away lambs for future markets that will grow into domestic or export weighted kill Lambs if shown the right feed. With Most of these lambs being females that have been treated with Gudair you also have the opportunity to grow out and retain them as breeders. the Muir family breed their own Composites with a blend of Romney, East Friesian, Texel & White Suffolks with sire rams selected on Shape & fertility.
