This is a line of 245 Vendor Bred White Suffolk Merino X ewe lambs. These lambs are bred from mature Western District bred Merino ewes by selected Westleigh White Suffolk sires. The vendor is an astute stockman, and when selecting ewes selects for frame and fertility, and when selecting sires chooses rams with high growth rates, high reproductive and fertility rates and low birth weights.
These ewes would be equally ideal to join now as lambs, or continue to grow out and join in the spring. They are well grown, with fantastic weight for age, and would be perfect to add to an existing crossbred flock or a good line to operate as a stand alone breeding flock.
