The FB Lock & Son ewe lambs need no introduction. The family are well known for having produced for many years 1st Cross ewe lambs that have influenced commercial prime lamb producing flocks across SA & Vic.
The 2023 drop is incredibly high in quality. Showing terrific weight for age, bone, length, clear and consistent heads & structure, these ewes will without doubt be wonderful producers of quality lambs for many years to come.
The mothers of these lambs are sourced from some of the best commercial merino flocks in SA. They have to display maturity, weight, frame & wool quality to make it into the flock. Performance, which is internally measured, is a high priority to the Lock family.
There are 500 in this group (being sold as 2 x 250, run out gate) which also come with an extensive AH profile. Foot health is also 100% clear after the September independent inspection. 100% weighed 32-40kg, these ewes are the ideal replacements for Spring 2024.
