Assessor Comments
First cross SAMM/Poll Merino mixed sex lambs, vendor bred, that would look fantastic in anyone's paddock or feedlot. They are Lawral park and Sunnybrae bloodlines on their sire side and mostly North Ashrose and Canowie bloodlines on their maternal side. The heavier lambs of this drop have been taken off the top for kill, nothing has been taken off the bottom, almost a complete drop born on the vendor's northern property and weaned in early September onto hay stubbles and progressing to wheat and bean stubbles. These lambs handle nice and hard with good even fat cover. I would suggest that these lambs will not take much to take out to a good killable weight.
