258 - Vendor bred Merino Wether lambs presenting in store to forward store condition.
Wethers were shorn 1 week prior to assessment.
Wethers are bred within a RWS Accredited Flock (Responsible Wool Standard Accredited). Wethers are Oct - Nov 2024 drop, being bred from a self replacing, heavily classed ewe flock producing a superfine traditional spinners type wool averaging 16.5 microns. Previous years lambs have averaged between 14 - 15 microns when shorn @ 12 months.
Sale presents the opportunity to purchase a genuine line of superfine wool growing wether lambs, suitable as replacement wool production wethers or to take on & grow out for further trade alternatives.
