A productive line of 260 x May/ June 22 Drop Merino lambs. Long stapled lambs that will grow into heavy lambs if given the opportunity and provide the buyer with a fleece rebate within a few months. The ‘Riverside’ sheep are bred for staple length, soft, high yielding wools on plain skinned fertile sheep. Animal health treatments are up to date, the ewes and lambs are being trail fed twice weekly to train the lambs to grain. They are offered ad lib loose lick. Of the 260 x lambs approx 230 x are wether lambs and 30 x are ewe lambs. The wethers are unmulsed. The ewes are mulesed. A small tail was drafted out at assessment.
