Presenting 520 Alma blood merino ewe lambs/hoggets.(Over 2 lots of 260) Lambs were purchased From Mutherumbung at Booligal via A+ and from the Waiko dispersal at the Hay breeder sale in September. Originally purchased to lift breeder numbers the decision to sell has been made due to a change in direction. November shorn and carrying an 75-80 mm fleece these lambs present a quick return on investment with the buoyant wool market and should continue to grow out and mature with the warmer weather around the corner post shearing. Alma blood ewes are a large framed ewe with a strong constitution, highly fertile and exceptional mothers. Ideally suited to a prime lamb growing enterprise these ewes given the right management will produce top grade lambs whilst still cutting large amounts of quality merino wool. *Please note 5-10% of the ewes have light photosynthesis from being on grazing crops. Have been moved onto lucerne 10 days ago and problem seems to have stopped.*
