Assessor Comments
Offering a line of well bred, well grown young lambs, one mark, account the breeder. Ideal lambs to suit many options due to their quality and weight. The wether portion heavy enough to feed or finish on crop or pasture. Weighing 41.2 average after 4 hrs lockup they are well grown for their age. These lambs are clean and fresh with a fair percentage of 3 scores in them. Approx 30 lambs were born early and they have more of a White Suffolk influence, and are the heavier lambs. These are some of the better lambs we get the privilege to assess each year. Good management and good genetics make the job a lot easier. The lambs will be running with their mothers until delivery. Purchasers may need to be flexible with delivery dates in the event of rain as the property is on heavy black soil. Vendor will load 2 long decks comfortably. Please note: Ewe portion also on offer this sale.
