Buyers, on offer is a quality line of 270 Merino Wether Feeder Lambs. Wethers are sired by Merrignee Merino rams and are the product of over 25 years of attentive breeding. Lambs are a late August/September 2025 drop and exhibit good frame and length for compensatory weight gain. Lambs represent the lead draft and were individually weighed 36kg + at assessment. These wethers represent an annual sale and present in a forward store condition being 4 weeks off shears. Lambs are trained to grain feeders as they are being supplemented with grain whilst grazing canola crop. Wethers would suit anyone looking to acquire quality wool cutting genetics or an opportune trade to grow out to heavier kill specifications. The most recent wool tests demonstrate their superior wool cutting abilities having cut 3.5kg of 15.8 micron at 8 months as lambs. Given wet seasonal conditions and grazing a lush Canola crop, there is the odd lamb displaying slight tenderness however all handled very well throughout assessment process and were foot-bathed after assessment.
