Assessor Comments
A very good line of 1st cross Ewe Lambs account the breeder. These grower Lambs are from excellent Egelabra blood Ewes [60 plus years] and sired by Ian Gilmore and Smithston blood sires. All the Lambs were individually weighed at assessment and range from 30 to 47 kg, 4 hours off feed at the start of weighing. The Lambs averaged 37.1 kg . They have been shorn in January and will be ready to join later this winter/spring with continued good nutrition and management practices. They have been taught to eat on bins with supplementation of Faber beans. A small tail has been removed from the line at assessment. Odd Ewe has some dry dags as a result of the supplementary feeding and fresh green grass. The worst of these will be cleaned up prior to delivery. Some urine stain present also. Please note the Wether portion in this sale also.
