An outstanding line of very fresh Xb sucker lambs that have been weaned onto a centre pivot.The feed under that pivot consists of vetch, clovers, and cocksfoot. These lambs are definitely on the go, and are absolutely ideal for a feedlot operation. They are May/June drop lambs, and were weaned in late August. A tail of approximately 50 lambs have been drafted out of the bottom end, to ensure a bottom weight of 37 kg. The tops are already killable, as a light trade lamb, ideal to finish in a feedlot for the heavy export trade. They will present in good hard forward condition, being mainly fat score 2’s and 3’s. The lambs were vaccinated at marking time, and drenched prior to weaning. They have all been freshly crutched.
Replacement ewes from the Mallee are purchased in each year, and are mated up to White Suffolk rams, the sire line of these being the well known Wingamin stud.
Please note - there is the odd horned lamb in the mob, and one black lamb as well.
