All the sheep mouthed had lambs teeth as is expected as they are not 12 months old.

The Keston sheep are classed breeders from a outstanding quality merino flock with 36 years of breeding history, that have used high quality Merino Rams and have been continually classed by Tom Henry. This lot of Ewe Lambs are the final dispersal of the breeding ewe flock due to property sale. The Ewes were shorn back in early February (tipped) a practice in the New England to help the lambs grow out, also creating a square tip and premium for finer wool off younger weaner lambs. A large 28% tail with excessively heavier than normal (due to late summer rains) dermatitis & water staining have been removed. Please note that there are still up to 15% that have some dermo/water stain that looks to have lifted off the skin . Also note there is 604 split into 2 lots of 302 in this sale. If these ewes are purchased by multiple buyers they will be delivered as a "run out the gate" with a focus on ensuring they are delivered in even lots. The wether portion of 554 are also in this sale.

The Keston flock average is around 17.5 micron year in year out with the younger weaners like this lot finer around 15.5 to 16 micron depending on the season. Note there is some urine stain and an odd dag.
