Lamb finishers, an excellent opportunity presents to purchase top quality 2nd cross lambs with all the hard work done! These August / September 2022 drop lambs are bare shorn and ready to go onto a fodder crop or be inducted into a feedlot. They are sired by Ridgehaven & Goonigal Poll Dorset rams out of western bred 1st cross ewes. Lambs present as high 2 & 3 scores and will finish quickly to heavy trade or export weights. All lambs were weighed through an auto drafter prior to assessment. Lambs would normally be fed on and are only being sold to free up pastures for lambing ewes. Great opportunity to secure lambs to take advantage of feed after the early autumn break. Noted that male lambs were marked with a knife, some lambs did not have the wool shorn off the scrotum and looked to still be entire but all lambs checked were castrated correctly. Also noted 1 lamb with a large black patch on the hind leg.
