Assessor Comments
Very well bred genuine spring drop lambs, these young lambs are out of a flock based on “Boonerah” bloodlines. They are also sired by the Boonerah rams that are selected for high growth and muscle and fat characteristics. There is plenty of shape and bone in these lambs and they will make nice trade lambs or could be grown out to heavy export weights. They are a late September to mid October drop last year and are only 6 to 7 months old. They have been grown out well and present perfectly to be finished for the winter lamb markets. All the hard work has been done with these lambs being grain trained and shorn late march. They are positioned perfectly to go straight onto feed and watch them bound away, 100 % of these lambs have been weighed in a tight 5 kg range at assessment. Dirty lambs will crutched on delivery.
Please note vendor has another lot in todays sale for a total of 588 lambs.
