Assessor Comments
On offer are 350 mixed-sex White Suffolk x lambs averaging 34.8kg liveweight. These lambs are October–November drop 2025 and are presenting in healthy store condition. The lambs show solid weight for age despite the dry conditions. These lambs would continue to grow into trade or heavy export weights given the opportunity. These lambs are normally retained on the property and fattened through the winter months on grazing crops, and are only on the market due to the prolonged dry seasonal conditions in the region. All the hard work has been completed, including weaning and shearing, and all these lambs require now is good-quality feed. They are ideal to take advantage of the current lamb market and fatten over the winter months ahead. Please note there has been a 10% tail removed from the assessment prior to assessment.
