Buyers, to be offered for sale are 390 Poll Dorset X Border Leicester/Merino Feeder Lambs. *TOPS OF THE DROP*. Vendor bred lambs sired by Felix Poll Dorset rams out of well bred medium to large framed 1st X Ewes. Lambs averaged 44.7Kg at assessment and are in good forward store condition. Perfect feeder weights 38Kg to 54Kg. End of March shorn, averaging 0.5 inches in wool length. These lambs are normally grown out into good trade lambs and export lambs but due to the seasonal condition are being offered to the market. Plenty of time in these lambs being August/September drop. An ideal proposition to hit forward lamb contracts for the July-August period. A great opportunity to secure 4 decks of Vendor bred and well bred 2nd X Lambs right in the slot to feed on. These lambs will not take long to finish given the opportunity on productive feed. A substantial tail was removed at assessment.
