400 Dorset x Composite lambs. 25-33kg to av 29kg at assessment. The flock has been based on Lambpro genetics for 12 years and have been purchasing Bruan Poll Dorset rams for a long time. They were shorn on the 20/1 and drenched on the 20/3 with Tridectin. The lambs have been running on summer crop and had beans in feeders. The summer crop has gone and they just have beans and clover hay. well-bred lambs that are normally finished however the season won't let them finish the lot so some have to go. A large tail was removed. Given the right feed these lambs have the genetic potential to grow into heavy lambs.
