400 - Vendor bred Merino Wether lambs presenting in store condition. Wethers are bred within a RWS Accredited Flock (Responsible Wool Standard Accredited) aiming to improve the welfare of sheep & grazing conditions. Wethers are the lead draft of the 2024 drop wethers being bred from a self replacing, heavily classed ewe flock producing a superfine traditional spinners type wool averaging 16.5 microns. Previous years lambs have averaged between 14 - 15 microns when shorn @ 12 months.
Wethers have been weaned for 2 months. Sale presents the opportunity to purchase a genuine line of superfine wool growing wether lambs, suitable as replacement wool production wethers or to take on & grow out for further trade alternatives.
