Assessor Comments
Very good quality line of young Merino woolgrower wethers 9-10 months old with 25mm of wool. Vendor also has another lot to ewes in the sale and these are the sisters of these sheep. These wethers are carrying some dry dags on the crutch area from a flush of green pigweed after shearing. The lambs are well grown and very good to handle in the yards and have been fed cotton seed so are aware of feeders. Leander has used top quality Terrick Merino and Lansdowne sires and classed breeders annually to produce productive Merino sheep. 10% of these sheep were shorn on 6th March so are slightly shorter in the wool.
