Assessor Comments
An excellent line of 420 x June/ July 2024 Drop Poll Dorset x Primeline Feeder Lambs. The lambs present very even and fresh as a group and are in forward store condition. Very well bred lambs that exhibit length, shape and bone. Lambs have been trained to feeders and have the breeding to be finished for the domestic trade before shearing given the opportunity. A top of 20% has been sold and tail of 20% were removed at assessment. At assessment lambs weighed between 32-44kg.
By specially selected Yarraman Poll Dorsets out of large framed Primeline Ewes.
The lambs carry a clean bill of health and come from a very well managed operation and come highly recommended. Lambs normally retained and sold to domestic processors, however the short spring means they are moving on to give space to breeding females.
