A good group of 425 x July/ August 2024 Drop Primeline Ewe Feeder Lambs. Lambs individually weighed between 30 - 48kg full. The lambs are currently grazing autumn sown oats and have access to Barley in self feeders. An opportunity to purchase lambs that are in store to forward store condition. Most of this group were scanned empty, approx.130 ewe lambs were not joined. Since scanning, the ewes have transitioned from trail feeding in confinement to barley feeders on oats. The ewes are healthy and would provide finishers a trade body before cutting teeth. Equally they are an attractive option to back ground for the winter and spring to enter a breeding program later in the year. Given the dry summer and autumn at Yass, most of these lambs are empty due to season alone. They may present an early opportunity to back ground quality breeders that may be tough to find in the spring.
