Assessor Comments
Offering 425 very well bred Merino wether lambs. The renowned Denholm Green North flock is principally Nerstane blood, using exclusively poll genetics the past 10 years with no expense spared on ram selection. They produce high quality, bright stylish fine wool with wethers being principally plainer bodied sheep. They are well and truly grain trained, currently in containment conditions receiving a ration of wheat & faba beans. They have shown significant improvement and present in predominantly healthy, forward store condition and are on the do. It must be noted that vendor finished the previous drop (2023) as lambs to 24kg cwt in July/August 2024. The hard has been work done here, the ideal article to take on and finish into high dollar, late winter markets or to take on as high class, wool cutters.
