Assessor Comments
Excellent opportunity to buy quality SRS Wether Lambs off the well known Hallam Family at Gunning. The Hallam Flock has annually lambed from 120% to 130% with the main fleece line @ 19 micron & averages 12 to 15mm growth per month. The Hallam flock has stopped mulesing since 2008. 2021 drop lambs cut 2.5kgs @ 17.5 micron at 5 months of age. All animal health treatments have been kept up to date with animal nutrition a major priority. The Hallam flock has been greatly overstocked due to succession planning with complete 2022 drop of merino lambs to be sold. Lambs have been supplemented 400g/hd/day on grain 3 weeks prior to auction. Wethers that will be able to be shorn every 8 months and grow into a large frame, plain bodied sheep. Leed draft of wether lambs with tail to be sold as mixed sex lambs in same sale. NB: Vendors ewe line as well as mixed sex tail in same sale. Agent Highly Recommends.
