Assessor Comments
A comfortable 4-deck line of very good quality 1st cross White Suffolk feeder lambs. This line represents the tops, which were drafted prior to assessment, with another 2-decks (220) of the lighter/younger lambs also offered this sale, giving buyers an opportunity to put the complete drop back together. Lambs will remain in seperate mobs until delivery. Lambs have been recently shorn, & drenched, have plenty of frame & are just lacking the required condition to be suitable to kill, however they are very fresh, & will gain weight & conditioning quickly given access to a higher protein diet. Bred from large framed ewes & sired by top quality W/S rams, these lambs are ideal candidates to return a quick profit by utilising forage crops before the need to lock-up in the Spring for grain production. 8 pure White Suffolk lambs with blue paint on them throughout the mob. # PLEASE NOTE # Despite being vaccinated with Scabigard, approx 20% of lambs sampled showed signs of minor scabby mouth.
