Assessor Comments
450 July/August Dorper wether lambs, Kaya and Castlebar blood, Mossgiel Station bred, 33.2 kgs live weight. A quality line of well bred wether lambs, ideal to grow out for domestic or export markets. These lambs are usually retained and sole into the trade market but due to numbers are being sold to make way for the next generation coming on. These lambs are bred out of quality Castlebar Dorper ewes by Kaya rams with only the best genetics being used by the vendors. Lambs are currently grazing drying barley grass, spear grass and clover and will grow into long deep bodies that will finish quickly on quality feed. The lambs have had a Glanvac 6 in 1 + B12 vaccination at marking and were treated with Clik Zin. Top quality lambs that will reach kill weights quickly. This is half the draft to be sold in 2 lots as a run out the gate.
