An even line of 1st x ewe lambs being offered. All individually weighed 27-34kg ave 30.5kg. Vendor purchases quality Merino ewes and uses higher index Border rams from Paxton Stud. Weaning % for merino Border operation was 130%. These ewes with shearing and good feed should be at a joining weight in Feb 25. Repeat buyers generally secure the lambs but season has changed the situation.
