Assessor Comments
On offer is a quality line of Merino Border Leicester cross ewes with plenty of upside. Aug/Sept '25 drop, dipped, drenched and vacc and ready to take home and grow out in time for joining. A 25% tail was drafted off prior to assessment and all ewes went through the auto draft at assessment. Ewes are bred out of medium to large frame merino ewes and sired by Dunnield border rams. Ewes are of a good type with plenty of length and stretch of which they will grow into if given the opportunity. Ewes are traditionally marketed in mid to late July as a mid 60kg ewe ready for joining but due to the season getting tight they are being sold now. There is a little bit of pigment on some of their points and the odd one has some scur. Ewes should jump ahead if given the opportunity. At assessment ewes had a weight range of 30-51kg to avg 39.1kg. Top quality vendor bred ewes you can buy with confidence.
