Assessor Comments
A/C Nicholls Farming offers 500 outstanding quality second cross lambs averaging 41 kg empty. Bred out of 1st x Ewes and sired by high indexing Poll Dorset Rams these lambs have all been individually weighed from 38kg to 43.5kg giving the prospective buyer and even line of store lambs ready to take on for the lucrative trade or export Winter market. These lambs are in store to forward condition, are long in the body and carry plenty of frame and have time on their side to become a top trade or heavy lamb given the right feed. Buy with confidence they come with my highest recommendation.

Introduced Sheep
1-5 sources of sheep have been introduced onto the consignment property in the last 5 years
Footrot
All consigned sheep are from a flock that is free of Virulent Footrot
Consigned sheep are from a flock that is NOT free of Benign Footrot or Scald
Further Information: In wetter months most notably Spring, some sheep may carry the effects of scald but it certainly doesn't affect the core flock and vendor does limit this by utilising footbath treatments during Spring flush.
Feet were not inspected at assessment
Lice
Consigned sheep are from a flock that is NOT free of Lice
Details: In early November the vendor noticed an isolated mob of Ewes on property had signs of lice. On the 23/11/23 every Ewe and lamb was dipped using Diazinon as a precaution resulting in all retained sheep and lambs being free of lice.
