Assessor Comments
Kurra-Wirra Pastoral Company offer an outstanding line of 500 Trade lambs averaging 49.5 kg empty. These lambs were purchased out of the Hamilton Saleyards during the peak selling season in December and January and have been grazing a rape and millet crop since. Majority of lambs are sired by the Poll Dorset ram over a composite or 1st cross ewe with the remainder being White Suffolk influenced. Due to the paddock being needed for renovation these lambs are being sold earlier than anticipated and would suit a professional feeder looking for a big line of heavy feeder lambs to chase the annual winter lamb price hike or would also suit the processor for a short term kill job.
