Assessor Comments
Good vendor bred line of mixed sex shorn XB lambs, a large tail drafted off these at assessment and retained. These lambs have had a Glanvac 6in1 B12 and drenched with Trio (triple active combination drench) at assessment. In my opinion, these lambs will respond quickly on a higher quality energy dense feed after being drenched and will steam ahead. They represent the lead draft of 800 lambs. These lambs were born onto a good feed base and have had access to fresh pastoral feed in Spring and are just starting to dry off in the tip. Light to medium clover burr & spear grass belly & points, picked up after shearing late Dec. Odd lamb with dry dag, not considered an issue. No Bathurst burr observed at assessment but does grow on property.
