Presenting the annual offering of the “Pomeroy” 1st x BL/MO ewe lambs. Lambs are showing the true to type traits of length of body, structural soundness, frame and bone that will see them grow out to be terrific prime lamb mothers given the right opportunity. The vendor annually purchases rams from Kegra Super Borders only buying rams in the top 20% for the BL index and replacement ewes are sourced from Central and NW NSW giving the lambs the extra bone from the western ewes. Many previous purchasers have been pleased with the results from these ewes. Lambs will remain on the ewes until delivery with a tail end to be left out. Please note no seed was observed at assessment however with season haying off there may be some barley grass seed starting to become evident before delivery. Note two even lots of 550 to be offered run out the gate with opportunity to purchase 1100 one mark ewe lambs.
