2240 Merino Wether lambs, July/Aug 25 drop, unshorn, weaned, mulesed, Lambs present fresh even though the season is drying off. A 10% tail was drafted off prior to assessment. There was 2 mobs assessed 120hd of mob 1 & 280 hd of mob 2 to completed assessment. Vendor did carry them on last year and finished them on native country and hooked them to Ave $290 plus skin. With the genetics selected & used in the Gunnegalderie Stud, a lot of emphasis has been put on high early growth, muscle, fat and carcass shape of the Rams purchased & the ewes selected in both the Stud & Commerical flock. On good feed or grain the genetics in the breeding will put weight on quickly, the lambs on grain or high pasture will have great weight gains and grow at the same time. Delivery for each lot of 560 will be just a run out of the gate. There is both B double and R/Train access but please note it is not all weather as Black soil road into the property.
