Lead draft of 560 Store Merino Lambs bred by Poll Merino Rams, from Bluebush and Picarilli Studs out of Large Framed Western bred Ewe base of Picarilli and Wanganella blood lines. These lambs would be normally taken to southern blocked for 'finishing' but due to dry conditions at both property's vendor has decided to sell. Lambs are fresh shorn and have been in holding paddocks during this period, there would be a large compensatory gain expected due to this if lambs were given the opportunity on good feed. These lambs show great frame for age. Lambs have had first & second 5in1 vaccine and due for booster. Vendor has bred from classed flocks, selecting for fertility, staple length and post weaning weights, making for an easy care sheep with high growth rate. These lambs will take off on good tucker. There is a 2nd draft of 1100 lambs in same sale.
