A TOP OPPORTUNITY TO PURCHASE A LOAD OF THE ASTON POLL MERINO & MERINO WETHER LAMBS. THEY ARE BRED FROM THE ASTON POLL MERINO EWES & WALLINAR WA BRED MERINO EWES BY BORUNG & RICES CREEK RAMS. THE ASTON FLOCK IS CLASSED BY BILL WALKER & ARE RENOWN FOR THEIR WOOL GROWING QUALITY WHILE MAINTAINING GOOD BODY SHAPE FOR CARCASS QUALITY. THEY ALSO GENERALLY WELL EXCEED 12 MONTHS WITH LAMBS TEETH. THESE LAMBS HAVE HAD ALL THE HEALTH TREATMENTS & ARE SETUP TO GO. THEY HAVE RUNNING ON NATIVE VEGETATION & THE VENDOR DID A TERRIFIC JOB KEEPING THEM OUT OF SEED IN THE SPRING. WE DID HAVE A GOOD INSPECTION & IT WAS VERY HARD TO FIND ANY SIGNS OF SPEAR GRASS IN THE SKIN BUT THERE IS LIGHT OLD SOFT SEED IN THE WOOL. A SEED KILL WAS DONE LATE LAST YEAR ON 6 LAMBS & THERE WASNT ANY DETECTED. THERE IS APPROX 2 WETHERS WITH A LITTLE MORE HORN BUT ARE WETHERS. NOTE THE OTHER DRAFT IN THE SALE TO PUT A LINE OF 1150 ONE MARK LAMBS TOGETHER.
