Assessor Comments
Offering 580 Dorper mixed sex lambs, that are all vendor bred and by very good Bellevue Rams. Of the assessed: 45% are whether lambs and 55% are ewe lambs. As you can see in the photos these lambs are of excellent quality, with very good bone style and shape. These lambs are an ideal article for a quick top-up on grain and finish. No ewe lambs retained provides a very good opportunity to keep the ewe portion and they would also be a very good asset to any breeding flock. A tail of 5% were removed firstly under 25kg during assessment and then by eye for the remainder of the mob. **Please note that these lambs were drafted off their mothers for assessment and then returned post assessment. They will be weaned at delivery. Lambs were mustered and yarded the afternoon prior - however still having access to their mothers.
