Assessor Comments
A very good line of 1st and 2nd cross lambs. Lambs are well grown and in forward condition. By White Suffolk rams out of good frame plain bodied Merino ewes (75%) and Merino/White Suffolk Cross Ewes (25%). Normally taken through to kill weights but on oat crop looks unlikely at this stage. Lambs had been handled extensively prior to assessment being yarded with ewes being crutched day prior. Lambs had been in yards for two days and only let out into small holding paddock for the night prior to assessment. Young lambs showing good weight for age. Note - observed 3 ewes lambs long tail and 3 ram lambs in mob. Lead draft of lambs that have potential to be heavy export lambs at a young age.
