Assessor Comments
Offering 1085 quality White Suffolk X & Composite lambs over two lots (450 & 635) run out the gate. Presenting in principally forward store to forward condition, the Glenample flock has consistently acquired the best genetics available over many years with a focus on above average growth & carcase traits & sheep robustness. Lambs are up to date with vaccinations and had a recent drench. They are generally moderate statue, deep bodied, heavy boned sheep, with previous purchasers finishing lambs to heavy export weights in the winter. These lambs represent the lead 60% of the Glenample lamb crop and are not normally offered to market at this time of year, but due to a tight season there is a requirement to make room. A chance to put together a large run of lambs, bred to perform with time on their side that can be taken to heavy export weights if given the chance.
