Assessor Comments
Offering an exceptionally well bred run of 670, vendor bred, 2nd Cross lambs. Lambs are bred out of large frame 1st Cross ewes and are sired by well known Aberdeen rams giving these lambs all the right breeding and attributes to grow into either trade or heavy export weights under the right conditions. Lambs have been grain trained with vendor having grain feeders available in the paddock over the past few weeks. Lambs have received 2 lots of 5 in 1 + B12 and were drenched at the end of September. This is a very even run of lambs with all lambs being weighed between 30-36kgs on day of assessment for buyer confidence. A few lambs have dag and will be cleaned up prior to delivery.
Vendors is offering 2 lots in this sale with 240 1st X wether lambs on offer.

Very light cork screw and barley grass mostly present on top knot. Any lambs that are dirty will be cleaned up before delivery. The odd lamb showed signs of scabby mouth at assessment which seemed to be healing up. Skins starting to dry off
