Assessor Comments
Offering 685 mixed sex merino lambs. These lambs averaged 28.5kg live at assessment after a big curfew, being yarded the day prior. The lambs were shorn in late February and are mid-June to late July 2025 drop. At assessment there were 361 wether lambs and 325 ewe lambs in the sale mob. The lambs are surplus to requirements for the Waroona operation and are being sold earlier than normal to make room for breeding stock, due to limited water supplies. Ideally these lambs need to be put away on good feed to grow out and turn into woolgrowers or trade on as light lambs. Please note the following traits were observed at assessment: three head with light black markings on ears, two with undershot jaws and two with larger untrimmed horn.
