Assessor Comments
A very good line of merino woolgrower wether lambs. These lambs present in good forward condition and have good health. The McCowen family are passionate Merino breeders who source lead end stud rams. Kelvingrove sheep are Merryville based flock with rams sourced from Cuddington's Roseville Park stud, Dubbo for the previous 7 years. These sheep have had been lightly mulesed. All fleeces inspected displayed a very bright white colour with a well-defined crimp and excellent handle. Previous history Kelvingrove mature wethers average 16.8 microns. Those mouthed were still strong lambs teeth with an odd one just starting to cut 2 teeth. Overall a very good line of future wool cutters that carry a big reputation.
